Hi Aztec Community,
We’ve been closely tracking Aztec’s programmatic L2 privacy model and were incredibly excited to see the recent Aztec x Galactica announcement bringing modular, interchain zkKYC frameworks to Noir. The philosophy of “Compliance by proof, not permission” perfectly aligns with what we’ve spent the last several years building.
While Galactica solves the critical on-chain identity and compliance gate, users and institutions still face an execution-layer hurdle: moving assets across chains seamlessly without hitting a public “privacy cliff” upon entry or exit.
To bridge this gap, we want to propose developing a Noir-compatible infrastructure integration that interfaces with Aztec’s Private Execution Environment (PXE) and SilentSwap’s decentralized, non-custodial cross-chain privacy aggregator.
Bringing Immediate, Production-Grade Scale to Aztec
Rather than proposing a theoretical concept or seeking sandbox-stage validation, the team at SilentSwap is looking to bring a mature, high-volume protocol into the Aztec ecosystem to accelerate adoption:
- Top Global Rankings: SilentSwap currently ranks as the #3 global Bridge Aggregator on DeFiLlama.
- Proven Volume: The protocol actively processes heavy volume, routing nearly $450M over the last 30 days alone ($441M+ tracked).
- Production-Grade Security: Our cross-chain architecture is fully audited by top-tier security firms including Halborn, Hacken, and CertiK.
- Compliance-First Framework: Operating with a US-based legal compliance opinion, our protocol is architected specifically to handle institutional-grade privacy, corporate treasury management, and cross-chain payroll use cases natively.
The Integration Value Proposition
By pairing Aztec’s modular compliance and Galactica’s universal interface checks with SilentSwap’s execution layer, developers can build dApps where a user proves compliance via zkKYC and immediately executes an encrypted, cross-chain swap or bridge in a single, fluid developer lifecycle. This effectively prevents data leakage while preserving full chain-of-custody compliance.
Technical Feedback & Discussion
We would love to get the thoughts of the core engineering and ecosystem teams on the best architectural path forward:
- Given the universal interface setup mapped out for the Aztec x Galactica framework, what are the current recommendations for an external hybrid-ZK aggregator looking to hook into these on-chain attestations?
- Are there active working groups or specific developer repositories focused on cross-chain private asset routing where we can sync with Aztec contributors?
Looking forward to collaborating with the builders in the room!
