If approved and executed through Aztec governance, this payload installs a RegistryReductionCalculator on the canonical rollup and sets the sequencer checkpoint reward to zero for validators staked through ATPs from these registries:
All other validators retain the default sequencer checkpoint reward. This changes the checkpoint reward component; it does not remove transaction-fee earnings.
Deployment alone does not activate the change. The payload is available for sequencer signalling and the subsequent governance process.
Deployment transaction. The deployed payload has been source-verified on Sourcify, and its configuration and governance execution have been checked against a mainnet fork.
The payload installs a RegistryReductionCalculator on the canonical rollup and sets the sequencer checkpoint reward to zero for validators staked through ATPs from the two insider registries. Every other proposer keeps the default reward.
Its actions, in order:
1. Set the sequencer checkpoint reward to 0 for the registry 0x667d2641cb96734f386adA6A9afCF07B1815fB8b
2. Set the sequencer checkpoint reward to 0 for the registry 0xD938bE4A2cB41105Bc2FbE707dca124A2e5d0c80
3. Point the rollup’s sequencerRewardCalculator at the calculator
