Aztec L2 on Monad Endgame?

For those who aren’t familiar with monad labs they are building a L1 with Solana speeds (Parallel Transaction Processing, 10,000 TPS, and single slot finality) and a EVM execution environment.

Combining private state with these speeds on on the L1 seems :fire:

Once the aztec L2 is live is it possible to simply have the sequencers post their transactions onto the monad L1 instead of ethereum if the community so chooses or would a new network have to be deployed?

I know the project.
But at the moment they’re preparing the testnet, the mainnet will take a while yet.
