Hello Aztec community,

We’re retrospectively announcing that **Citadel.one has sunset its Aztec validator operations** , and our validator node has been shut down.

**Why this happened**

As part of an operational restructuring at Citadel.one, we’ve had to reassess the networks and services we support. Unfortunately, the Aztec network previously provided no option for a validator to opt out or exit gracefully, so we were left with no alternative but to shut the node down.

**What this means for delegators**

- Our validator is no longer active and will not earn rewards.
- If you have questions about your delegation, please reach out at @citadelofficial on Telegram.

**Thank you**

We want to sincerely thank all of our delegators for trusting us with your stake and for your support throughout this journey. Thank you also to the Aztec team and the wider community for the collaboration, the responsiveness, and the work you’ve put into building this network. It has been a pleasure to be part of it.

Thank you again, and we wish the Aztec community all the best!

_Reena Shtedle & The Citadel.one Team_
